On 1st of September 2015 Google revealed its new logo, confirming the evolution of the 1st search engine.
Why this change?
Originally Google was a simple search engine, accessible from a computer. During the past 17 years the brand has developed multiple products and web users have benefited from it via different touchpoints: connected objects, television, smartphone, tablet… the purpose of this change is to give life to the logo, whichever the medium and the search mode are (voice or keyboard). That is why in every tab, showing a product or a Google search, you will see displayed the letter G with the 4 colors of Google.
Similarly, during a vocal search you will be shown an animated microphone wearing the colour code of the brand.
